Facebook Flunky

Yeah, I quit Facebook. Or “deactivated,” as Facebook prefers. I didn’t realize I had “activated” it in the beginning. I figured I just started it, like an addiction.

It’s hard, going cold turkey. Whenever I sit at the computer, my hand moves to the empty area in my Bookmarks where the icon sat. At work, I still catch myself thinking up witty lines for my status, then stop, and realize the total redundancy of my life. (Thanks to Twitter though, I now have another venue for telling people what I’m doing in a humorous and totally self-indulgent way.)

Good Company

Meghan-profile
